an elaboration of my disclaimers
I hear we (me and jp) are pointed as responsible for a student in our school being blamed as the character behind the dancedroop multiply account.
The nature of the site I created was to archive the pages for the sake of archiving the pages as a historic account, no more no less. The pages are captured from a public cache, and are still available from that same cache (last checked July 21, 2008. 10:32AM PHT).
From our point of abstraction, it is near impossible to trace the machine from which these blog entries are posted from (esp. one in a public domain (smartbro, mydsl, etc.) having a dynamic IP), also there is no lead so there is no starting point for all of this tracing. More so, I believe it is impossible to trace the character behind this blog as one can pretend as another person behind a machine. Having said all this, we can say that there is no 100% accuracy in finding out whoever this character may be, unless someone claims the blog, and I am most Uninterested in finding out who this person might be.
I don’t know who this dancedroop character is, and I don’t care who this dancedroop character may be, and I am most Uninterested in finding out who this person might be.
So people, let us not jump into conclusions and start pointing fingers at random people, no one has evidence, really.
To the person being blamed, and for this matter—anyone that may be blamed as the character behind the dancedroop blog:
I do not, and will not blame anyone as being the character behind the dancedroop blog, that is not what I do, and I do not have a miniscule of intention in finding out who this is nor blaming anybody. Sorry for all the trouble and worries. I hope the rest of the readers out there share this thought with me.
Also, if someone suddenly attacks you again, slap them with the third paragraph and quote above, then email them with a link to this post. They’ll most likely shut up.
For the record, I don’t trace IPs, and I don’t know how to trace IPs, lastly I don’t even have the tools for such a task.
Anyone can speculate, but no one really can tell.
